The Year of Revelation

Like I promised yesterday, I'll be sharing insights downloaded into my spirit by the Holy Spirit. Like a Berean and possibly a believer, I'd encourage you to 'check these things to see if they are so'. Also acknowledge that 'we know in part and prophesy in part' so what I'm about to share isn't the whole picture but no doubt an important piece of the puzzle for this year and years beyond.

The Holy Spirit specifically started to speak to me about what to expect within the Body of Christ especially and then the world in 2010. Since then, He has always whispered or I've enquired what the prospective year was going to be like. Briefly, in 2010, He told me that we (Body of Christ) had a come into the 'Manifestation of the Fulness of Times', in 2011, 'Change', in 2012,'Sonship' and now in 2013, 'Revelation'.

Time and space would not permit me to go through all these previous themes, however the common thread is that God has zeroed in Romans 8:18-23, verse 19 in particular. God is zealously keen for the Manifestation of his Sons and Daughters!!!
This is the year where He intends for us to be unveiled! This is the set time! The Glory that we have carried within can no longer remain 'hidden', it is bursting forth and WILL PREVAIL!

Last year, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that they are 3 aspects of Sonship that are catalysed by the Grace of God - Righteousness, Peace and Joy. For us to 'manifest', there has to be a working consciousness of these three in us. I'm not advocating adopting measures to ensure that we have them, rather I'm encouraging us to see them already at work in us. In some many ways, these three are one as they are inseperable, however for the purpose of teaching, we can look at them distinctively.
Righteousness is coming into oneness with God and living naturally like Him, peace is the natural result of this union and Joy is the expression of this united life...

So this year, God is revealing his Sons and Daughters for one major reason - THAT THE WORLD AND ITS CREATED ORDER MAY KNOW AND COME INTO THE GLORIOUS LIBERTY OF THE SONS OF GOD. How precious is that? Habakkuk 2:14 clearly expresses this that 'the entire globe would be covered with the KNOWLEDGE of the Glory of the Lord as the waters covers the seas'. The Glory of God is already here but the knowledge of it is lacking, that's why the Lord has chosen to 'reveal' it from this year onwards. This KNOWLEDGE is not just to be dispersed through books and other forms of media but through the offsprings of God. Their lives would demonstrate a working knowledge of God's Glory and how it can dispensed for the benefit of all.

The 'sufferings' of previous years and especially 2012 have prepared us for this time and moment. There is going to be such a level of Glory that has never been seen or heard before. God has patiently waited for this set time and now things will supernaturally erupt. There's gonna be a lot of Glory! Accompanying signs and indicators would include;
a) The book of Revelation. This book would be a pivotal book this year because it is a book about the revelation of Jesus Christ in the fulness of his Glory primarily before any other thing. I perceive God is releasing revelation to clear all the distorted interpretations and to establish Truth and Clarity. 2 key chapters to look out for are chapters 4 and 17. Chapter 4 is about worship in heaven and as it should be on the earth. I believe God is inviting us higher to actually worship from our proper place, position and status. The door (portal) is already open. Enough of worship from earth to heaven, that's an Old Testament platform. Our worship should be simultaneous with heaven - 'on earth as it is in heaven'. Interestingly, in the place of Worship, God is Revealed! As God is revealed, worship ensues. Chapter 17 is about wealth. The worldly system that has perpetuated a sufficiency system outside of God would further sink and start to appear as a failed system. There's a wealth transfer this year folks! Everything laid up in the Babylonian system would be converted to the Righteous! Remember how Israel got Egyptian booty? There would be such tremendous favour to make that happen this year. The Kingdom of God is expanding ferociously this year, direct the wealth there as led by the Spirit of the Lord
b)Increased revelation to the Jews. I also perceive that a lot of Jewish people would start to have firsthand encounters with Jesus. He will reveal himself to them more in dreams and supernatural encounters. In Genesis 45:4, Joseph reveals himself to his brothers. Joseph, a type of Christ, concealed his identity from his brothers the first few times they met after so many years of him being abandoned and sold into slavery. His heart was to draw close to them and reconcile - the very heart of the Master.
c)Increased infiltration of the 7 mountains of culture. Again Genesis 45:8-12. Joseph in revealing himself to his brothers also shares God's Wisdom reflected in his life experiences from slavery to the throne. He encourages his brothers to go and get his father and their families and then return to settle in Goshen deemed to be the best part of the land. As the Josephs arise this year, they would equally make room for others to access and influence their respective mountains.

Thoughts on the Olympics

The Olympics have come and gone but the memories will indeed linger...if only for a while. I didn't quite envisage the atmosphere it created all over the country and just the sheer delight of seeing records broken, new champions emerge and some sports gaining national and global attention erased all doubts about the success of the games.

I believe that as much as the Games portrayed the UK's sense of preparedness and excellence, it also served as a pointer of impending spiritual renewal and awakening within the nation. The Opening Ceremony captured essentially spiritual snippets of revival even though the christian heritage of the nation was downplayed to almost a hush.

Hosting the Games, in my personal opinion, was quite significant not for the economic and political benefits but the spiritual overhaul of post-modern Britain. Being the 30th Olympiad, it prophetically implied that the UK is 'mature/ripe' for an awakening. 30 is a significant biblical number, many people seemed to come into their own at 30. The Bible is replete with examples ranging from Joseph to Our Lord Jesus Christ. I also read somewhere that it is a number that signifies dedication (noun as against a verb). Great Britain has been symbolically dedicated to the Lord for His purposes and plans.

As each nation marched into the stadium with their flags and donning a colourful array of matching sportswear and cultural attires, there was a young person right in front of each country, each carrying a little torch. I think this is important to note because Great Britain is already of hub of diverse cultures and people from all over the world, however those whom the Lord will co-labour with to reignite the spark will be those who 'receive the Kingdom like children' - those with child-like faith! Those who are not 'carrying the flags' or are being 'cheered by the crowd' but those who humbly believe in the finished work of Christ and are ready to carry their torch without attracting undue attention to themselves.

The Cauldron was a magnificent work of art and highly prophetic! Not only will those with child-like faith carry their torches, they will be willing to lay them down for a greater fire!!! They will be willing to network with others of like minds to create a huge fireball that will spread all over the nation. The greater fire of God's Glory is coming and it is HERE!

It's interesting how the bell rang IMMEDIATELY the Cauldron was lighted. Bells are indicative of time and I feel the bell signified that it is TIME for the Gloryfires to hit the UK like never before..

Back to the Cauldron, the commentator at the Closing ceremony actually said 7 kids lighted the torch at the Opening ceremony. 7 is a number for completeness and Divine perfection. This huge fireball of God's Glory will not be tainted by the flesh as in revivals of old, it will be initiated and sustained by the Father Himself. Remember Elijah's fire on Mount Carmel? it was heaven-sent but this time around,the fire is not for destruction but for 'reconstruction'.

Wedged between the Games hosted by an Emergent economy (Beijing) and an Emerging economy (Rio), I foresee a surge in the economic fortunes of the UK. I see a prosperity that will be widespread and culminating in 2015; it will be a prosperity of a different sort, it will be a 'prosperity of the masses'. Because of the Glory of God pervading the atmosphere, transformation will become common place and the general standard of living will upscale as a result. Isaiah 60 shows that the Glory of God attracts Gold (best resources) for transformation purposes.

Enough said, I'll allow for your blessed minds to receive this information and then to process and digest it.

like a flash of lightning

uk streets became frightening

the death of one unknown

triggered riots in urban zones

angry folks, young and old

made away with toys and gold

shop owners took to their heels

some unlucky left money in their tills

now who's gonna foot these bills?

or provide them with 3 square meals

so sad to believe and hard to see

the total breakdown of community

neighbours turned into enemies

for the sake of material things

law enforcement vs guerilla looters

hidden hatred unleashed on commuters

one, two, three, four

days the mayhem went on for

arrests upon arrests being made

the price for offence has to be paid

courts in overtime passing quick verdicts

peace? at last? who'll take the credit?

I paused to reflect here for the voice

of the One who speaks without noise

the Judge, King and Lawgiver

the One in whom I am a believer

I caught a glimpse of what he would do

if He were to try those that broke the Rule

His judgement would be just & true

GRACE! their lawlessness overruled

He will show mercy to whom He's chosen to

that's why his eyes, through the earth, go to and fro

discharged! acquitted! the guilty go free

that's why he died on Calvary's tree

the very lawbreakers we all once were

don't be hasty to throw if you really care

if you don't or disagree with my tone

then i'm outta your way, throw the first stone!!!

                              

Say YES!

I watched 'YES MAN', a recent movie by Jim Carrey last night. It's simply the story of a bank worker who had developed an extreme negative attitude towards life after his wife has left him. He avoided friends and socialising, rented movies and refused to pick his phone calls up. His outlook on life was really bleak until he met an old friend who invited him to an empowerment seminar. He eventually made it there and was challenged by the speaker to make a covenant of saying YES to every opportunity. This changed his life forever.

He started saying YES until he took it to the extreme. The surprising thing about it all was that it worked. It presented him with the opportunities he could never have dreamed of ;

1. He learnt how to fly a plane
2. He learnt how to speak Korean
3. He met a girl he truly loved
4. He went bungee jumping
5. He travelled spontaneously
6. He gave out loans indiscriminately and ended up being promoted
7. He built friendships through the loans he gave which paid off as they all returned his favours one way or the other

There were other things he did not worthy of mention but the point is he said YES and it revolutionised his life. Because he had lived life on an extreme NO, he needed an extreme YES to develop a healthy rhythm of facing life head-on. 2010 is a time to say YES. YES to those God-given dreams, YES to those God-inspired business ideas, YES to overcoming those sins that doth easily beset us, YES to loving people you wouldn't ordinarily come close to, YES to living life like God intended, YES! YES!! YES!!!

When you decide to say YES, God's Grace is available to back you up. Remember Mary, when she was visited by Gabriel and given the message of being the channel through which the Messiah would come, she said YES. Look at how it's rendered in the Message translation:

                              And Mary said,
                          
                              "YES, I see it all now:
                                   I'm the Lord's maid, ready to serve
                                Let it be with me
                                   just as you say     (Luke 1v38)

2010 -The Year of the Manifestation of the Fullness of Times

Happy New Year! 2010 is finally here! I must say my anticipation was quite high primarily because of the things God has been stirring in my heart and I'm excited to be alive and well in what might turn to be one of my greatest years on planet earth. Anyway, so much for me... I'll share with you what I feel God the Holy Spirit will be doing from 2010 and beyond. Every year when God gives a word or a theme, it is to propel us to pursue primarily within that particular timeframe the things for which God has already apprehended us in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:12)

The process of acquiring inheritance

Galatians 4:4

"But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law that we might receive the adoption of sons"

The Apostle Paul in the letter to the Galatians wrote the above-mentioned verses whilst explaining the difference between faith and law. Interestingly, he uses the analogy of acquiring inheritance to justify his claims. In doing this, Paul mentions a critical truth - "the fullness of the time". Time is crucial to the heir apparent acquiring the inheritance bequeathed. According to Galatians 4:1, if the heir is a child, then he/she must wait for the time SET by the Father in order to enjoy the inheritance even though it is already the child's. If the heir is an adult, however, the inheritance can only be accessed and enjoyed after the demise of the one who willed it (Hebrews 9:16). Either way, acquiring inheritance is indeed a process of time!

Positionally, in Christ, we already have our inheritance (1 Timothy 6:17b, Ephesians 1:14,18, 1 Corinthians 3:21,22). It is so vast and huge that it spans both our temporal and eternal lifespan. It's prepared to meet every need and want and planned to give us a rich and glorious lifestyle. It's so inexhaustible that we can't outlive it yet so elemental we can't live without it. It's like having a portion of cake that has everything and satisfies every taste bud and craving! However, experientially, we are all at different levels of accessing and possessing our inheritance. The Father sets up kairos moments that enable us progressively access and possess our inheritance just like He gave Israel the Promised Land in bits even though the entire land had already been given to them by God (Deuteronomy 7:22).

What time is it?

*The greek understanding of time indicates that it occurs in 2 forms; Chronos and Kairos. Chronos refers to chronological time - days, weeks, months, years whilst Kairos refers to an appointed time or an opportune time. For instance, when a woman is pregnant, she spends nine months of chronos time in pregnancy waiting for her child but when she goes into labour, the Kairos time for the birth of her child has come.*

I mentioned earlier that the Father sets up Kairos moments for us to access our inheritance; these kairos moments from God are indicative of His Favour, Plans and Purposes. When the fullness of times come, these kairos moments seem to converge with the chronos time bringing about massive breakthroughs, huge release of favour, widespread demonstration of power and incredible harvest of souls into the Kingdom. Things are set in motion or accelerated to a high degree. Things erstwhile found difficult become easy to overcome, the one at the bottom of the corporate ladder suddenly surges to the top of the establishment...all because of the fullness of times; the proper time, the perfect time...

I'd like to quickly illustrate further with the example of David from the Scriptures.

David was anointed King of Israel when he was seventeen and then all sorts of tests and trouble hit him. In fact, the pressure became so intense he had to run to exile for safety and refuge. For thirteen years, he was more or less a vagabond with a ragtag company of 'soldiers'. However, when the 'fullness of times' came for David;

1. Saul, the incumbent King, died (1 Chronicles 10:13-14)

2. "All Israel came together to make him king at Hebron" (1 Chronicles 11:1-3)

3. "David became more and more powerful, because the Lord Almighty was with him" (1 Chronicles 11:9)

4. David's army grew so much so that it was compared to God's army (1 Chronicles 13:22)

5. People from all over came "fully determined to make David king over all Israel" (1 Chronicles 12:38)

6. There was continuous celebration in David's house and joy in Israel (1 Chronicles 12:39-40)

7. David succeeded in 'bringing' the Presence of God back to pre-eminence in Israel (1 Chronicles 13 - 16:3)

8. Hiram, King of Tyre, sent servants and resources for the construction of David's Palace

Let me explain this further

The Power of 10

10 is a unique and interesting number both from a natural (mathematical) and biblical standpoint. In the natural order of numbers, digits change order whenever they reach a 10 or a denomination of 10. For instance, 0-9 is referred to as Units. No number between this range is able to change this order except you move on to 10. Instantly the number order changes to Tens. Again, for the number order to graduate from Tens, it must reach 100 (a denomination of 10) and so on and so forth. Biblically, 10 represent government, order, measure, law, trial & testing and fullness. One of the combinations for 10 is 3 and 7. These numbers often frequently describe God's fullness/completeness and perfection, together they imply God's 'perfect fullness'. So many things become clearer in the light of this...e.g. Tithe, which is one tenth, is usually seen as a portion of a whole, however, it is a portion that is complete in itself.


So what's the point?

Chronologically, we completed the 1st decade of the millennium at the end of 2009. 2010 represents a new decade and a new order. Spiritually, 2010 is a huge kairos year where all things are possible and no good thing is withheld from those that love God. It’s PERFECT AND COMPLETE TIMING! These two timeframes converge IN 2010 and there's going to be an eruption of Grace, Power and Prosperity like never before. This fullness of times is necessary for the decade ahead most especially, that is, 2010 - 2019. The Kingdom of God will so GREATLY advance that kingdoms of this world would start to become the kingdoms of our God. Also, the darkness would be so intense for those on the evil side, so the revs and truths from God's Word and Presence you get now will equip you for the challenges ahead. Receive this word and position yourself as 2010 gets under way...
